The Ice Breaker reception is a great way to start off the conference week and it marks the flying start of EAC 2020. It is the perfect opportunity to meet delegates from around the world, and catch up with old friends and colleagues in an informal setting. Registration desks will be open, so you can collect your badge and conference materials then and beat the Monday morning lines.The EAC 2020 Ice Breaker reception will take place at the Eurogress convention center in Aachen’s spa gardens, which is also the conference venue. A selection of drinks and some light snacks will be available.

The Association of Aerosol Research (GAeF) and the Organization Committee of the EAC2020 are delighted to announce that this year‘s Young Investigator Event (YIN Event) has the governing slogan “YIN meets Industry“.
An introductory talk is followed by a meet-and-greet with members of the Aerosol Community, who chose different career paths. These small group discussions will be supported by snacks and drinks. We invite all participants to let the evening fade away by joining us in a local pub.
We encourage all young investigators (PhD students and Post Docs) to participate.

EAC2020 will see the second FUN RUN after its very successful introduction at EAC2019. This run is intended to energize both your body and mind prior to another busy conference day. The run will be either 3K or 6K, depending on how many laps you want to do. Come and join us for this event and meet the athletes among the aerosol research community! Some light snacks will be offered after the run. More details will be given after you register for the FUN RUN during the registration process
